On Thursday, Zimmerman filed a complaint alleging, “NBC News saw the death of Trayvon Martin not as a tragedy but as an opportunity to increase ratings, and so set about to create the myth that George Zimmerman was a racist and predatory villain.”
He is suing for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress, and seeks unspecified damages as well as a trial by jury. The news was announced on GZvsNBC.com, a website established by Zimmerman's legal representatives on their client's behalf.

Joe this if off topic but this happened last night during the Berlin Christmas Parade.
THIS ITALIAN RESTAURANT "SI'CULI" IN DOWNTOWN BERLIN POURED SPAGHETTI SAUCE ON A FRIENDS CAR TONIGHT WHILE HER AND HER CHILDREN WERE WATCHING THE PARADE . THEIR EXCUSE WAS SHE PARKED ILLEGALLY IN THEIR BACK PARKING LOT. FACT IS SHE PARKS THERE EVERY YEAR AND ITS NOT ILLEGAL. THERE WERE NOT A NO PARKING SIGN OR ANY SIGN RESTRICTING ANYONE FROM PARKING THERE. SHOULD THIS BUSINESS GET AWAY WITH THIS??? I THINK NOT!!! THIS IS PLAIN DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY. I certainly hope George wins this and also hope his trial for shooting Trayvon goes in his favor.
We cannot keep protecting black criminals just because they are black.
Trayvon has a history of criminal activity and racism that was never made public. The MSM needs to learn a costly message.
I'm sure NBC will drag this out for years , maybe the rest of the MSM will jump on this as news.
This is a good thing. MSM must be held responsible for what they report and editing a tape is being a liar.
