For the first time in 15 years, the Baltimore Orioles are in the playoffs.
The team advanced to the postseason on Sunday by beating the Red Sox 6-3, and after the Texas Rangers beat the Los Angeles Angels 8-7, in the second game of a doubleheader.
The win by Texas also clinches a playoff berth for the Rangers and for the Yankees, who are tied with the Orioles for first place in the American League East.
