BERLIN -- Extraordinary opposition from vendors at Berlin’s Farmers Market last night sidelined a potential re-location of the event, at least for the next few months.
However, when agreeing to allow the market to remain in downtown Berlin, town officials made it clear that they are expecting more cooperation and communication between the Chamber of Commerce and the market in the future.

"town officials made it clear?"
Berlin voters and tax payers need to make it clear that the town officials aren't running the show.
Town officials need to get off their high horse and realize that Berlin ain't nothing. It's a ghost town, Deadsville except on Farmers Market and special event days. Everyone knows it so stop tooting your own horns about how successful downtown Berlin is. If the dentist/doctors offices/bank were to leave there would be zero people in Berlin during the weekdays. Those and the Farmers Market vendors are the lifeline of Berlin. Any of the other businesses could close and no one would even notice.
"Mayor Admits He, Council Made Decision, Not Chamber"
Must be a bunch of democrats. They are forever trying to shift blame and not accept responsibility.
