NFL STAR URGES BLACKS NOT TO VOTE FOR OBAMA

'I went out there, I worked for it, I built it'

Retired National Football League star Burgess Owens, a Super Bowl champion with the Oakland Raiders, has urged African-Americans not to vote for Barack Obama simply on the basis of race.
In his newly published e-book, “It’s All About Team: Exposing the Black Talented Tenth,” Owens recounts how he grew up as a liberal Democrat and supported Jimmy Carter.

Great article. Mr Owens is a true American and has reaped all the rewards he deserved based on the efforts "he" has put into it. Congratulations Mr. Owens.

Don't forget the fans who bought the tickets and/or watched the games on TV.I did not realize pro football players could make it without the fans,a stadium,a paycheck generated by fan related income, network revenues, team mates to get him the football and block for him, etc, not to mention the groundskeepers.Oh thats right,I forgot,he did it all by himself. This guy was a real island.

That's right 1:06pm, everybody owes what they have worked hard for in life, to someone else. In that case then, I bought a hamburger at McDonalds once and if I had not purchased that hamburger, you could have easily and probably would have choked to death on it, had you been in line behind me, so I, in essence, have saved your liberal life. And now, you owe me 1:06pm and I'm asking you, "where is my just reward"? Do you need any further help in figuring out what most of the world is thinking about your apparent politically motivated self serving comment 1:06pm? I also once purchased a very lethal claw hammer, so that makes twice that I've probably saved your life, had your spouse bought it. And I didn't do it alone either, there was a clerk in the store who also helped me, so you owe your very existence to him too. Feelin me yet 1:06pm. The comment moderator will not allow me use the proper wording that would clarify my strong position and would leave you with zero doubt, as to where non believers of your humorous fantasy also stand. Not funny 1:06pm. The people that have worked hard in life and scrapped and saved to get to where they are all deserving of their just rewards and/or accolades. Others like yourself 1:06pm are undeserving and will never share in their bounty.

106-Yeah...because fans cause other fans to watch, or go to games. Without athletes like Mr. Owens, the NFL would pack it in like the WNBA.
