Falling Behind In Internet Connectivity

Americans are falling way behind the rest of the developed world when it comes to internet connectivity. The nation of South Korea is expected to have internet speeds 200-times what we have here in the United States by the end of the year. And here's the kicker: they'll pay only $27 a month for it. According to a new report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development – the United States is falling way behind other developed nations when it comes to internet speeds and connectivity. Currently, more than 94% of South Koreans have access to high speed internet. In that United States, only 70% of us do – with roughly 100 million Americans unable to access high-speed internet at all. So what's the secret in South Korea? Government regulation that prevents oligopolies from rising up in the internet market and charging whatever they want. It's time we start enforcing the Sherman Anti-trust Act in America again – break up the giant internet cartel – and bring more competition into the market to lower prices. High-speed internet is the basis of the new economy – and thus it should be fundamental right for all Americans to have access to it.

We are dealing with a government and president that are from a third world country thinking. So , live with it , he's your president and your future.

It's not a fundamental right to have access, it's a fundamental right to start our own competitive business. Make that legal, and the rest will flow naturally.

We also need price caps on auto fuel, it is a required item in America, just like electricty and heating gas, we need caps on how much those gready bastards can chagre us for it.

South Korea is about the size of Indiana. Compare that to the size of the US. That might have something to do with it...

Price Caps... that would result in shortages of what every you are capping the price of. Why would any company sell a product for what the so called government sets the price for....

Items to live on are not a right, they are a privelage including food, water, electricity, healthcare, car, house, etc.......

If you want communism... go to North Korea, Cuba, or the old Soviet Union... see how that works for you.

Greedy bastards is the old class envy game.. get out of your sofa and work... work... invent... innovate and please stop complaining that someone else makes more than "you"
