I just had to write you and tell you how my husband and I felt after meeting you tonight. We both started reading your site several years ago after a local girl went missing and have continued to follow it every since.
Honestly we had somewhat of a negative impression of you, not sure why really. After talking to you tonight that has all changed for us.
We both felt as we walked away, "We had that guy all wrong". He has great ideas for the City of Salisbury, we believe that you have the drive to see them through. All that aside you were just a great person to talk too.
Good Luck with the campaign however I don't think you will need it.

Interesting read. I went yesterday and met Joe too. Your ideas for downtown are the best I've ever heard. The best part of our conversation was how you answerd my questions without hesitation. Its clear you know Salisbury politics and your not afraid to discuss each topic I brought up.
I think the biggest thing that impressed me was your response to the council of no's. I had no idea the mayor was bringing up items for the agenda that couldn't get passed and he knew it. I hope you get the chance to explain that to as many voters as possible so they know the games the mayor is playing.

anonymous 9:22, thank you! Getting a booth at the Farm & Home Show was a great decision. Today Congressman Andy Harris will be there around noon. My Booth is right next to the Republican Party Booth.
I will be there today from 10 AM to around 4 PM. 90% of the Show is indoors so if it rains come on out and visit. Ask any questions you like or please share any ideas YOU think might improve Salisbury.
I agree with the writer. After meeting you I realized you are down to earth guy who really cares about this city.

I agree with Mr and Mrs City Voter. Originally I had heard from others about your blog and how awful some of it was. I am not one to believe something without reading your blog. I read it every day and often go back to read the later comments. My problem with the blog, a problem that is NOT helping your cause are some of the comments your readers are writing. There are so many good comments what turns people off are the use of raccist comments, crude remarks about the LGBT. It is NOT necessary for those comments to be used. In my opinion thats what brings down the quality of your site. If your commenters really want to help you win they need to stop bullying, there are ways to describe others actions without resorting to crude comments. COME ON READERS ACT YOUR AGE I AM APPALLED AT MANY OF THEIR COMMENTS! WOULD THESE FOLKS READ THEIR COMMENTS TO THEIR CHILDREN AT THE DINNER TABLE? YOU HOWEVER SEEM LIKE A CLASS ACT. GOOD LUCK KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I will keep reading, but come on Albero supporters show his followers HAVE CLASS!

Anonymous 10:33, are you asking me to censotr my Blog? I recently asked a Judge the very same thing.
Just because we publish comments even I don't agree with doesn't mean people shouldn't be afforded their 1st amendment rights.
Mind you, the ones that are over the top we reject but in many cases many comments are simply ones you and I don't agree with.
My suggestion is, don't give the comment the attention the author is desperately in need of.

I don't like some of the comments either. But, like you said in your response, people have the right to say it even if we don't agree or like it.
That's the way it is supposed to be.
People sometimes forget the other guy has the same rights as them.
No Joe I am not asking you to censor the blog I am asking your supporters to show a little class to further draw people to your blog. I would hate for folks to stop reading the blog I do want them to support you all the way to the Mayorial victory
