The Montgomery County Council approved ambulance fees Tuesday,
effectively overturning what voters decided in a referendum just 18
months ago.
Only insurance companies will get billed under the plan, not individuals.
"If you have insurance in Montgomery County, you are paying for this
cost," County Executive Ike Leggett told WTOP in April. "The customers
are already paying for it. They're paying for it right now. We just
don't have a way to collect it."

Do away with Hospitals. have doctors treat you at home. That was how they use to do it. Pay him off with a couple chickins or eggs or something.
Heck no, the government is obsessed with collecting all of the money they can possibly extract from any source. Then they do nothing but waste it, so what is the purpose? Cut spending, cut taxes, cut waste, that is the way to go. Quit trying to steal everyone elses money!
First we are gouged for taxes. To pay for things like police and firefighters. Roads and repair of roads. Schools. Society's essentials. But then, our money gets used to place plaques, billboards and signs all over the state to tell us who is the Governor. Establish Ccommissions and Boards to hand out special, bloated and expensive "projects and "studies". Then we are levied and surcharged to pay for things like roads, schools, police (and their military equipment), and such. THEN we have special tax increases that are supposedly used for specific things like the Bay Bridge repair (a toll is just another tax). Of course, then we have the fines of every kind and a well armed and aggressive army (the police) to make sure the fines get collected. And more laws to insure that no one escapes the fines and fees. I can't match the vociferous enthusiasm (or disgust) of 8:38, but I'm feelin' ya, baby. There is NO solution except to march these petty and thieving bloodsuckers to the town square at gunpoint and hang them all. Yeah. I said it.
