President Bush had the right idea. He made the announcement regarding offshore drilling and BOOM, oil prices plummeted.....to a measley $137 a barrel. ooops

I think prices will drop as long as we don't give it away to another country. It's time this country took care of it's own citizens.

Anyone who doesn't hink adding additional oil supply to the global market will bring down prices doesn't understand economics 101.
Of course it will bring down the price.
Would reducing the oil supply raise prices even more? Of course it would.
4:02, I'm sorry you haven't actually thought this through. Oil companies aren't drilling for the good of the American citizen. They are drilling and selling to whatever customer on the world market will allow them to see the highest profit. The only way your are going to stop "american oil" from going onto this world market is to inact the "socialism","fascism", "communism" that you clowns have been screaming about for the last 3 years.
