When the Trayvon Martin case first started garnering national attention, there were many that thought they knew who George Zimmerman was: an overzealous racist with a vendetta against young black men who was on a mission to assert power with his gun. But then little details started emerging, such as pictures of Zimmerman’s bloody head that could bolster his self-defense claim; CNN even backtracked and said the tape it once suggested showed Zimmerman uttering a racist slur was actually him most likely saying it was “cold.”
And now, Reuters has put together a detailed profile of Zimmerman that seems to suggest he was a concerned citizen that was trying to help fix his community and those in it reeling from recent crime. He was a compassionate neighbor, it seems, not a lunatic with a gun.
“During the time Zimmerman was in hiding, his detractors defined him as a vigilante who had decided Martin was suspicious merely because he was black,” Reuters reports. “After Zimmerman was finally arrested on a charge of second-degree murder more than six weeks after the shooting, prosecutors portrayed him as a violent and angry man who disregarded authority by pursuing the 17-year-old.

It is simply matchless phrase ;)
when the likes of jesse jackson, al sharptown, other leftist black organizations and of course the liberal media, you can rest assured the truth will not be spoken and you can't take their story to the bank.
always wait for the truth to surface... just as it's doing here.
It's a shame we can't get truth in our media, do we actually have to read Reuters and The BBC to hear some truth?
so again, we see the crowd that screams about civil liberties, support a non-law enforcement individual with 0 authority usurp another citizen's rights just because that citizen happened to be black while walking down the street?
Hence, he wasn't peeking into anyone's window or on anyone's property.
839-What right did the guy have to attack Zimm? Oh, that's right he didn't. Deserved to get shot. He wasn't 12. He was a gold tooth rockin, graffiti spraying, jewelry stealing, marijuana smoking, 6'3 17 year old, who happened to attack the neighborhood watchman.
9:23 we don't know if TM initiated contact with Zimm., hence the trial. But we do know that the entire event started with Zimm. assuming TM was on drugs and up to no good based off of......being black and walking down the street.
Unfortunately, all this is truley meaningless. He made a mistake and he will face a jury of his peers. You are responsible for the consequences of your actions, especially when you are taking responsibility for a firearm.
Its funny how the court of public opinion is weighed heavily enough now to decide whether or not someone should be charged. THE FACT IS no one besides Zimmerman knows what really happened so how can you prosecute on that?
Zimmerman has the right to have a trial by judge if he chooses instead of a jury 10:34
The way that law is written I think I'd personally ask for a judge instead of people that may have been soiled by all the media misinformation.

How can you say that when there were eye witnesses?
