So far the Wicomico County Board of Education says they have a 2 hour delay.
"Schools will be opening 2 hours late. No AM ATEX or Pre-K."
However, we'll keep tabs every few minutes to see if this changes in any way.
There is a 2 hour delay for Delmar Middle and High School.

You may not have received a call but according to their Website they have a 2 hour delay.
It takes a while for the system to make 5000+ phone calls.
ParentLink has to call 17,000 phone numbers so it takes awhile.
The website is updated first followed by sending the ParentLink message, which doesn't start calling until 0530
Is anyone really surprised that after Monday there wouldn't be delays..from here on out Dr. Frederisksen will be the hero. He will always look out for the safety of our children. Why? Because, we the community, FORCED him into making the decision to protect our children.
Did your community force Somerset and Worcester to protect our children? Now I'm waiting to read how dumb and stupid Dr F and the BOE is to have a TWO hour delay today when ONE would have been sufficient.

I don't miss those days. Our children are grown and moved out. I remember my husband and I always debating who was going to call in late.
