Gov. Martin O’Malley’s controversial bill to control septic systems was brought to the Senate floor Tuesday, with opponents planning to offer a series of amendments. The Senate Education, Health and Environmental Affairs Committee approved the 33-page legislation Friday on a 7-4 vote, with Sen. Ed Reilly, R-Anne Arundel, calling it a move to “centralized planning.”

The largest industry on the shore is homebuilding. When it went so did most of the jobs and the economy. It is 90% of the prosperity on the shore. This septic bill will make sure there will be no more prosperity on the shore.
The economic truth is that the housing industry is the motor that turns the economic wheels. From blue to white collar workers it's all encompassing. The folks that make and manufacture the products to the people that sell and install them. The bankers, insurance agents, settlement attorney's, appraisers, all the way to FNMA. Without the housing recovery...we will not see prosperity again...and this clowns doing everything in his power to keep it depressed.
Flush O'Malley!
