Inflation - The Truth

I stopped by my local building supply store today to pick up a few things. One of the items I picked up had increased significantly in price since the last time I purchased it - almost 10%. I was advised by the girls behind the counter that they had recently received notice from manufacturers of vinyl siding and windows that prices were to increase an additional 7 - 9% April 1st. This isn't the first time I've heard this. As I look around I can't help but see price increases everywhere.

Last month Bernanke stated "Gas prices won't drive inflation". Excuse my language but it is my opinion the Bernanke is a first rate bullshit artist. He ranks right up there with Obama. He should have stated that gas prices won't be the only thing that drives inflation.

We simply cannot believe what these idiots are trying to sell us. Think about this. The American Dollars is the worlds reserve currency. Oil is bought and sold globally with U.S. Dollars. Don't let these politically motivated hacks tell you that it's speculators and instabilities in the middle east that are soley responsible for the increase in oil prices. No. The truth is that the U.S. Dollar is being devalued.....everyday. As the value of the dollar goes down it takes more of them to buy the same amount of anything - including oil. The libs are crying foul that the oil companies are making record profits but the truth is that the record profits they made this year don't have the buying power of the profits they made 5 years ago. Our dollar is becoming worthless.

As things become more expensive and salaries stay the same or drop, significant problems arise. People aren't able to buy as much. As much food. As much clothing. New cars. We will ultimately get to the point that we won't be able to purchase the bare necessities. More and more people will have to depend upon the government to supplement their existence. Oh wait! They already are!

No matter what the talking heads are saying, we are steadily sinking financially. We as a nation are never, ever going to be able to repay our national debt. Ever. The numbers simply don't work. Anyone who tells you differently is lying. Those who have come to this realization have started to prepare. They are networking and stockpiling. They are becoming self sufficient.

Again I urge you all. Wake up and see what's going on around you. Make the necessary arrangements to become self sufficient. Educate your neighbors, friends, and family. Prepare.

I bought shaving razors the other day and they went from $5 a few months ago to $15 and also in a lock box the cashier has to get.

My husband spent an entire weekend last month going through prints so they could order what they needed. The supply house had told them things were going up, anywhere from 10% to 20%.

So when the government tells us the inflation rate is 1-2% we shouldn't beieve them?

And while we are paying more in goods and services people should be asking themselves if their paychecks have gone up as well?

NO,of course not. Maybe some raises or cola's but definitely not enough for most families to cover the increase in goods.

The voting block that this administration is targeting seem to beleive this BS. That should tell you who and what they are. Uninformed and stupid....or on the entitlement gravey train!

dittos 8:26. this is a major problem in this country.

i agree with this article on stockpiling and getting ready for a "crash". be sure to make friends with your neighbors and help one another when this happens. find out if they need help (especially the elderly). see if the single mom needs help. this is NOT a time to just do for yourselves, but make sure others have what they need as well.

for those who are believers, continue to pray that God will instruct your path. scripture says, "i've never seen the righteous forsaken or His seed begging for bread.". trust in God to meet your needs and guide you in all your ways.

i do believe we are going to have a rough road ahead but don't fear, trust in the ONE that created you. call on Him, the Author and Finisher of your faith. Jesus Christ alone will save you.

There is no possible way to ever become totally self sufficient. You will always need something the you can not produce. I understand being prepared say for a storm or something but I found the whole Prepper radical movement to be insane.

Anyone who goes grocery shopping knows about the real inflation rate. Some people choose to ignore it or blame it on the past administration.Let's face it folks, we all know the economy is not getting better, employment is not geting better and the outlook for the future is not bright. This administration, through the main street media will say "things are getting better" over and over again until they think we believe it. Don't be fooled. The next thing we'll hear is that he is in favor of the XL pipeline, even though it has been waiting for his approval for three years.

10:48 I hope you never have to find out that you are wrong. But I know you will. Radical? Hmmm. A bit strong of a word for people who want to be more self sufficient. I agree that no one can do everthing. But everyone can do something. When you become part of a group or network, you become part of a strong remedy against dependency upon government. If you fail to plan you most assuredly plan to fail. The ostrich sticks its head in the sand pretending that danger doesn't exist. We know what becomes of the ostrich.
