Early this morning I sent in the above comment and wouldn't you know it, they removed it in absolutely no time at all. We were smart enough to capture the image but this is exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to the Daily Times.
Their agenda is to crush Debbie Campbell, Tim Spies and Terry Cohen at any cost. Anyone supporting them or challenging Mitchell or the Mayor will get rejected.
What';s it going to take before all of you subscribers get it. You're not getting fair and balanced news/reporting. You're getting what the Daily Times wants you to hear.

Why is that a big surprise you are by your own words a competitor. I have never in my life scene wmdt comment on wboc I wouldn't allow it either from a business standpoint it only makes sense.
The Daily Slime is so hard up for readership that this past weekend we went in Food Lion and they had a stand set up in there with two people behind the stand saying - free tickets to win $100 in groceries just put your name and phone number on the back of the ticket - then - once they had you suckered in they began their bull crap about how you could get the paper delivered to your home for whatever amount every month. My only thought was how low can you stoop.
Seems that WBOC and WMDT didn't think it was news worthy at all.
Isn't this the same clown that wanted to be the city solicitor? Sounds like sour grapes to me. Know wonder he didn't get the job, it's obvious he wouldn't have gotten along with the City Council.

I remember when the Salisbury City Council was comprised of distinguished citizens; such as Dave Rogers, Joe Long, Sam Seidel, Norm Conway and the like. They put differences aside and worked together for the betterment of Salisbury.
Now it's a bunch of crybabies, who refuse to work together like adults. I imagine that is why few, if any, of them can even retain real jobs or maintain their homes.

The irony at play here is of potentially universe-shattering proportions.
8:53 am go crawl back under your rock. The only ones out of control are Jim Ireton and his puppet Laura Mitchell. Laura is a typical Libtard who can't think for herself. Jim Ireton is a sick individual, not because of his gay lifestyle, but because of his sissy hissy fits of a gay white man. I wish he would quit like he did when he was a council member.
This city needs to move to a city manager or a full time mayor form of government instead of a part time obstructionist mayor who acts like a child.
How do we fund this position? By doing what Ireton said he would do during his campaign, cut Chambers job and add those funds to attract better people for mayor candidates.
Please just fire all of these idiots and start from scratch. End of discussion they have all had a chance to be decent the Mayor included. Just get rid of all of them.
It is like keeping control of a first grade classroom...it may even be more challenging then that. It is so sad to see how much personal agenda gets in the wat of people running the city of Salisbury. And then we wonder why no one wants to come spend money or live here.
It's amazing how Debbie and Terry are able to remain composed and professional in the face of YEARS of this abuse-- especially Debbie.
I guess that comes from being mature adults, secure in knowing who they are, and that they're solidly backed by the TRUTH-- the FACTS.
Hang in there, Debbie, Terry and Tim. You were on the other side of the 3-2 mess before and played fair, now let these children grow up and learn to do the same.
Salisbury isn't quaint little town it was when mayor Martin ran the show.
Salisbury has for many years been lacking a true, honest mayor that has the best interest of the taxpayers at heart.
I.E. The $14,000,000 TIF to the old mall where the pile of grounded up rubble still sits. The impervious (parking lot) surface of the old mall still exsists along with old lamp posts and rusted sign posts. When I was young that pile of rubble would have been calling my name to climb to the top, another city liability.
The waste water treatment plant debackle. Previous mayor and council vice president's lies to taxpayers, claiming that the WWTP project was ahead of schedule and under budget? The links to those statements from an actual council meeting are on youtube.
Now we know it needs another $60,000,000+ to make it work right. Most likely to be at the taxpayers expense and will probably force tax hikes to pay for it.

Out of line? Joe's opinion was out of line? What standards do you use to gauge someone's opinion?
The standard that says if it disagrees with you it's out of line?

I've seen Joe post your worthless comments but yet you don't return the courtesy?
Doesn't really matter. We all know what type of people work inside that building. Years ago we found that out.
