In a court filing, the oil company alleged that Halliburton did inadequate cement work. BP also asked a federal judge to punish the oilfield services company.
The accusation raises the stakes ahead of a trial, expected in late February, to assign blame and damages for the April 2010 blowout of the Macondo well, which triggered the spill.

Whats funny is BP officials run Halliburton... Just like the company that cleans oil spills, was bought 7 to 11 days prior to BP oil spill...
Whats funny is, BP top head (Once top head) works at the department of energy... One is the head of Halliburton... another is the head of the oil spill clean up company...
Also, the head of the company who makes that chemical they sue to dissipate the oil is run by an use to be top head of BP...
Sound clear to me they all knew what would happen and they all were in together...
Halliburton is not a stand-up, reputible, american-apple-pie organization? Really?
Why don't we rename the US Halliburton, it really is who we are now.
Funny that Halliburton is always into something, yet they still get contract after contract
More like the U.S government cover up. I believe it was all planned to support Obamas oil and coal policies. If you remember we had a huge coal mine accident about the same time.
