It sounds like a great idea in theory. In practical terms, it has some serious flaws. The biggest flaw is that being physically close with another person releases hormones that promote emotional closeness.

FWBs Over 40
I've been thinking a lot lately about “friends with benefits”. Young adults are marrying later in life, which should be better for the divorce rate but may not be. Men and women are shying away from serious emotional commitments, choosing instead to have casual sex with supposedly no strings attached.
It sounds like a great idea in theory. In practical terms, it has some serious flaws. The biggest flaw is that being physically close with another person releases hormones that promote emotional closeness.

This decision should be talked about and if it works for those involved if not then leave it alone. Other than having a good lay be responsible physically and emotionally
Is that a side mirror hanging off that yellow car in the parking lot??
The article almost had me until it hit that men over forty had a different perception of friends with benefits. I don't care what age man you talk to, the FWB have always been acceptable for men across the board. Females on the otherhand got a negative connotation for the behavior.
The perception of sex has not changed in most individual men of any age, just the view of society on a whole.
I once had a very nice friend with benefits. When her sister extended HER benefits, the whole thing blew up in my face. Oh well, great while it lasted.
I would rather have a true friendship that does not include benefits. The benefits side ruins the friendship because at some point, one person wants more.
Ew. There is so much more you can divert your energy to.
9:18 you need Viagra
People seem so desperate to have sex our society says you can't have a good evening if it doesn't end in sex, I mean we all like it but at what point does it become a compulsion.
Speaking from experience right Alex?
