While Craig Jahelka of WBOC continues to push his commercial stating business is way up in Salisbury and on the Eastern Shore we produce, (yet again) another business in Downtown Salisbury that have closed their doors for good.
After we published yesterday's story about two other businesses that have closed their doors, commenters started complaining we weren't publishing all of the new businesses that have opened in their place. Again, we ask, (especially those commenters from yesterday) to step up to the plate and educate us on those new businesses we aren't aware of.
I personally can't believe the majority of people out there do not believe the economy is playing a huge role in the downfall of the American Dream. 30% of all mortgages are in debunk, unemployment is through the roof, jobs are almost impossible to find, especially want ads in the local paper. I just cannot see where the alleged responsible main stream media who have to live to "higher standards" can make such claims.
Oh well, we'll just deliver the evidence that it isn't true and let you decide.

Joe,
Forget them... They are complete fools... And this is yet another reason why our city, county, and state is a boondoggle... You have idiots whom still believe what they are told; you still have idiots whom want to post crap on your site without doing research to back it... just as you stated...
More than likely they work at a place where they have no worries so they are maybe blind in this regard... I.E the medical field... where someone can make 75k a year to sit in a chair and tell someone to go sit and wait for 5 hours to see a doctor that will charge to 100k for the visit but spent 20 seconds with you...
The American Dream , it's now the Obama nightmare.
New Verizon on South Salisbury Blvd

Benedicts gone..sorry to see them gone..guess we will see a new building there (probally a drug store) that we dont need.
Craig is an idiot. It must really suck to live a life where your coworkers hate you but have to be nice to your face.
New bakery corner of 13 and Naylor
Is that business in the picture you have displayed "Curve Appeal"?
84 lumber sold and scheduled for re-development...
I thought 84 lumber had closed long ago. I never seen any cars there until recently. Doesn't really matter to me. I would never shop at one of those places anyway. I don't like the actions of the owner and the people that worked at the stores were rude, arrogant, and obnoxious. Typical PA. people.
