NO. If nannies are watching children you do not get breaks.

There is a law already. Check Wage & Hour Laws.

WE have too many laws now why do we need more?

First of all who is supposed to watch the children while the nanny is on a break?
And what exactly are we talking about-a babysitter or a nanny?
A babysitter is usually paid by the hour and goes home at night.

A nanny is salaried, depending on what perks are provided with the job, such as room and board, meals, a vehicle and gas, vacations taken with the employing family.

My nanny is live in. I am a busy woman and so she lives here for free, gets great meals, and a small salary. It's worked for two months so far, and she is great with my son and midnight feedings if I pump out first. She has a great place to live, all the food she could want, and is totally in love with my child. As a single professional parent, it's a win win for all of us. A small child should never have to be torn from his crib every morning or hauled around.

Hire another person to watch your kid while the nanny is on break??? Here's a crazy idea, spend a little QT with your own child.

Of course not!

No! When the "kids" are in their crates resting, then the Nanny gets a break!
