Washington (CNN) - In comedy, timing is everything.
And minutes before Sarah Palin, former Alaska governor and parent of a child with Down syndrome, made her much-anticipated speech in Iowa, Los Angeles-based comedian Eric Golub told a joke that compared liberal political ideology to “special needs children.”
After commending Palin on raising her son Trig while balancing other responsibilities, Golub made the analogy.
“For that reason alone, the left should worship Sarah Palin and adopt her as one of their own,” Golub said. “Because the leftist haters are an entire political ideology of special needs children.”
Golub continued by saying that liberals are needy and feel entitled.
“And unlike Trig, they aren't very lovable,” Golub said. “All you hear from them is give me, give me, I need, I need, I want, I deserve, I’m entitled – no you don’t.”

Truth hurts sometimes.
The interesting thing will be Palin's silence on this issue. Every time someone of a liberal pursuasion speaks in any way about "special needs children," Mrs. Palin become downright indignant over the use of the term, demands apologies, and screams at the lamestreamers for allowing this to happen. But when a Republican does the same thing: radio silence from Camp Alaska.
Example: Last year she took Rahm Emanual to task for using the phrase "retarded," but when Rush Limbaugh used the same word to describe Democrats she did not say a thing.
In Caribou Barbie's world it works like this: if you use the word "retarded," AND you are a Democrat OR anyone daring to question her knowledge on any subject, you are the worst kind of evil in this country. If you are a republican and use the word "retarded," its no biggie.
So which is it, Sarah? Are you a champion of Special Needs children and the patron saint of all things good, or are you a political opportunist who has no problem with talking out of both sides of your mouth as long as it gets you free press, even though you have no real spine to speak of?
Methinks its the later, but does that make me a lamestreamer for pointing that out?
The blind hatred of Mrs Palin because she's an attractive intelligent women is pathetic but it has made her a millionaire so keep up the hating business is good.

Palin gets verbally stomped time and time again, something that the left is NOT supposed to do. The left is supposed to be the champions for women's liberation. We know it's typical of the left to be extreme hypocrites but they can't see it.
I truly wish that some miracle could come about and Palin would be elected POTUS.
