Unconfirmed Update On Rockawalkin Event Last Night

Salisbury News learned that a police agency was chasing suspects in a stolen vehicle. They stopped the car and two suspects ran into the woods. We are told shots were fired an an officer cannot continue searching with flash lights when shots have been fired so they called in Trooper 4.

We also learned the suspects were NOT apprehended and are still at large.

Probably some Nithsdale or Kensington kids.

4:25 why would you make a comment like that. really kids shooting at cops the fugitives could be from any where!

I was thinking it was someone unfamiliar with this area since they were too stupid to know they were turing down a dead end street where a State Tooper lives on the corner!!!!

Anyway...I grew up in Nithsdale and never had to steal anything especially a car!!!

What a horrible thing to say in jest or for real. I live in Kensington and the kids are all very well behaved.

What is it with the class warfare and jealousy people?

My answer is get over it.

I doubt very seriously that guns are sold on the streets of Kensington or Nithsdale. Come on people the only thing kids sell in these neighborhoods is lemonade.

Follow the drug trade it will take you right to those neighborhoods.

Geez--someone doesn't like the Kensington/Nithsdale area. I can think of other neighborhoods that are just as nice/or better than those two mentioned. But, what's the point. It's not where you live that counts, it's how you live your life. Get over it.

If the people commenting are representative of the people living in those neighborhoods, I wouldn't want to live there.

Now, can you knock it off. The rest of us are trying to find out what happened there.

Forget the class warfare for a minute. We would all be foolish to rule out possible suspects based simply on where they live.Wealth or poverty does not always dictate integrity. We can only do our best to teach our kids right from wrong. The rest is up to them.

A lot of kids from affluent neighborhoods do a lot of crime around here don't let location fool you blame the school system and lack of parenting.

6:50 I totally agree with you however it sounds like others are making assumptions about the kids in these two neighborhoods. My point being made is that it could be anyone from anywhere. I would rule out kids from Nithsdale or Kennsington not based on there or there parents financial status but I just have a hard time believing it was anyone who is familiar with the Rockawalkin, Tally Ho, Pemberton area because I would think they would of known that Tally Ho was a dead end street bc its in the community surrounding there neighborhood. It would of made more sence for someone from this side of town to have turned down Rockawalkin or continued on Pemberton if they were in fact in a chase.

I saw cars from all departments. I saw a k-9 from Delmar. i would think if there was a threat to the public after the initial search you would have been notified. Also all the idiots lighting fireworks in the area did not help the police or the neighbors at all. Why do we think it is o.k. to set off fireworks in our neighborhood every holiday. It is agianst the law and obvioulsy did not help this situation. It was a holiday and the cops are spred thin as it is. We did not help at all.

Joe i hope you and Mike can get on the same apge again it was a great community service knowing what was happening as it unfolded versus days later.

Is this the same area the trooper was shot at last year.

Lets face it folks arm yourselves it is coming to that.

Know your neighbors. Know your neighborhood and protect it. Report any activity that does not look right.

Middle class and upper middle class are taking an ass beating. The rich are getting richer. The poor are getting the help. Middle America is carrying the country on our backs.

Something does not add up about this whole thing.

It takes 6 pounds of pressure to pull the trigger on a handgun and there are 100's of people of every race and socio economic level through out the county that could of fired those shots if indeed there where shots fired and it was a shame the suspects weren't captured but I've it a few days they'll be captured.

Now it's the schools fault? You quack me up.

Another update: They aren't worried about capturing these idiots. They know that they would only spend a night in jail , really not worth the trouble to pursue. Thank's for our lovely legal system.

As the search intensified, one of the suspects was actually picked up by a cab.I know this sounds like a stretch, but it's a fact.Multiple people witnessed it.

Hmmm.. Heard Baileys was in the area.. and ended up where??? Figure it out...
