Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On August 3, 2011 at approximately 4:30 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the area of Barclay Street for the report of a trespasser. Upon arrival the officers found the below listed suspect involved in an altercation with an adult male. Officers tried, without success, to calm the suspect who attempted to assault the male in the presence of the officers.

ARRESTED: Kasiane (nmn) Apostolopoulous, 47 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Disorderly conduct
Attempted second degree assault
Failure to obey a lawful order
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On August 3, 2011 at approximately 9:30 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on the four hundred (400) block of Lake Street for the report of a domestic altercation. Upon arrival the officers made contact with the below three (3) suspects who advised that they had become involved in a domestic argument. The argument resulted in each suspect assaulting each other.

ARRESTED #1: Mary Emma Williams, 49 years of age

ARRESTED #2: Christopher Eric Williams, 23 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland
ARRESTED #3: Mechelle Janee Fields, 20 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: All charged with second degree assault
DISPOSITION: All released to Central Booking

On August 3, 2011 at approximately 10:42 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Wawa Food Store on South Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a trespasser. Upon arrival the officers found the below listed suspect who had received a previous warning regarding trespassing at the Wawa store. The suspect was arrested and during a search of his person, incident to arrest, the officers located a smoking device containing suspected marijuana residue and a quantity of suspected marijuana.

ARRESTED: Joseph Hamilton Brown, 27 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Trespassing
Possession of marijuana
Possession of CDS/Paraphernalia
