Blacks vs. Whites

Black scientists might be less likely than their white counterpartsto win research dollars from the National Institutes of Health. NIH has diversity programs in place but suspected they weren't working well. It commissioned the study, published in the journal Science. It found that women have made gains over the past few decades, but minorities, especially blacks and Hispanics, still make up a small proportion of the nation's doctors, medical school faculty and biomedical researchers. But it isn't clear why there's a gap, because race and ethnicity information is stripped from all applications before they're evaluated. However, NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins said the situation is unacceptable.

All information on gender and race should be omitted from the applications for EVERYTHING. Standardised test, SAT, AcT etc.etc. The next step will be to LOWER standards for minorities like they are doing in police departments so that blacks will pass the tests. Good lord, how long does it take to prove that Affirmative Action does not work--you cannot legislate work ethic it must be TAUGHT and it is not being taught in Section 8 breeding camps.

Ask Samples about this issue , she's a racist and only hires blacks because she has an agenda for her cause.

They looked at their resumes and saw they got their degree from UMES. After a good round of laughs, and some quetions about how are they going to protect the drugs used in the research, they put THOSE applications in the shredder.

This is BS it says in the article that race and ethnicity was not on the applications that were evaluated. I am a white male age 60
I have been discriminated against my whole life because of affirmative action. Every time I applied for a job . I applied for manufacturing jobs at good pay rates and was told sorry we have to hire 40 or 50 minorities first before we can hire you. The Maryland State Police for about ten years or so hired nothing but minorities. They also lowered their standards of testing so the minorities could pass. I was also told by a plant manager of a large corporation that if he had a black man and a white man with simular qualifications he would promote the black man into management everytime. So I am sick and tired of hearing all the BS and the race card played everytime a black person doesn't get their way. I lived through Viet Nam and the race riots of the sixties. And like I said I was put at the bottom of the hiring list because I was a white male. So let's stop all the crying about a hundred years ago when your relatives were slaves. Maybe they were but if you are living today you were never a slave. And you have had the best opportunities to get ahead in life . So if you are a drug dealer or in jail that was your choice. So stop crying about it and suck it up.
