Welcome To The New Georgia House Restaurant In Salisbury

The newly renovated, (formerly Chef Fred's) restaurant on Rt. 13 was welcomed by a large crowd Friday evening for their ribbon cutting ceremony.

Salisbury News was present and our Staff enjoyed a wonderful meal. One of the greatest parts of being a member of the Chamber of Commerce is the network of people who come to these events in support of new business. Bigger than that is the fact that they will quickly spread the word through a large network of people and the seed instantly grows.

There are three owners of the Salisbury restaurant who actually purchased the property. Brand new air conditioners have been installed and the interior has received a complete overhaul, especially in the kitchen.

When you visit you'll feel like royalty as the staff deliver something most restaurants do not deliver, respect. They appreciate your business and want to earn your business.

Once you see the menu you'll be very pleased at the prices. In my honest opinion, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Mind you, we could only order so much food but what we did receive was fabulous.

I look forward to returning in the very near future but in the mean time, if you'd like to enjoy something unique to Salisbury, stop in and give The Georgia House a try. Trust me, you'll like it.

I certainly hope that it can survive with out the troublemakers as customers. I can remember trying to turn Johnny's & Sammy's into a place for the more "mature" adult and did not want kids. Sure we had some problems but it seems that most were happy running to Watermans, Market Street, etc, having a beer and a burger and then go home. Look at almost every entertainment place that has been in Salisbury.
Salisbury has changed considerably LOL When I was there I would have been able to recognize half of those in the picture and now I did know one. Time moves on.

If this GH is anything like the one in Laurel, the only one I've had the pleasure of attending, you will be impressed. The food is delicious, the selection is wide (esp. the side dishes), the service is impeccable, the prices are very reasonable--and I could go on and on. Bon appetit!

Try the ribs. They are the best around.I have eaten at all 4 stores and the food and service are the same in every one.

GH Selbyville impressed us first, then Georgetown and Millsboro. When Laurel openend, we continued the same dining experience as 4:33 with
the added pleasure of seeing a lot
friends also from Salisbury who had made GH Laurel a destination. Many local folks have waited several years for GH to come to Salisbury.

Who are the owners?

Paul Longshore, the gentleman cutting the ribbon and standing next to his wife, Margaret, is one. I don't know who the other owners are.

Shawn Hall and Larry McQuay are the owners. They have established a wonderful business. Shawn and Larry are the GH and deserve all the credit for building such a successful business. Keep up the hard work fellows. Salisbury will be a great success just like the other GH.
