Must be all those Teachers getting an early start on the Summer.
I just left there, IT WAS NOT AT BACKSTREET GRILL! It was a fight two doors down between some idiots. I blame the SBY Police for parking in front of their business on wrong side of the road, causing a very bad road hazard, and unnecessary scene for Backstreet Grill. SBY Police, you acted very careless in this matter!

I agree, they were on the wrong side of the road without their emergency lights activated. Very dangerous!!. Ironically the second car had its rear red and blue deck lights activated. That did no good for oncoming traffic!

We almost ran into the first police car....they were actually parked on the wrong side of the street with no flashing lights on the first cruiser. Not sure why they have the authority to drive down the wrong side of the street and just get out of their vehicles and leave them parked to possibly cause an accident. Come to find out the incident was two doors up from the Backstreet, making it look like something was going on inside of Backstreet. Could they not have at least parked on the correct side of the street with the proper flashing lights and parked closer to the house that was really the cause of all this?

No my friend I am a ranking officer and I have a good idea who you are. When I prove it, you will be wishing you had a job anywhere flipping burger. You are a disgrace and you have already proven that you are a bad cop with your attacks on tax payers that help pay our salary. The comments were made because the police offers were negligent in their duties.
10:23 what are you a new cop with a hard on for citizens who have a right to ask you to follow the laws you are supposed to enforce? Get a new job!!
Maybe the cops shouldve took the extra 45 seconds parking and let the fight get out of control. Thats for any crime. Bank robbery in progress, cops need to drive around the building and do a u-turn and park correctly.

A cop just FLEW by me going 90 mph on the bypass yesterday. No lights. No nothing. WTH?
You ppeople are right. I think we all should slow our response, take our time. I am sure when you are involved in a incident and need us you wont mind if we take a little longer to get there and make sure we park in a approved manner.
11:00 the only thing worse then complaining about something you know nothing about is claiming you are someone you are not. If you are a ranking officer, expose yourself, I am sure nothing will hapen to you for makeing that type of threat on a puplic web site.

11:00 if you are a high ranking officer, you need to get a medal! It is about time someone understands that the citizens have rights and the police are PUBLIC "SERVANTS" who serve at the discretion of the taxpayers who pay them to do their JOB which is to protect and serve. There is nothing in their job description that says they are either JUDGE or JURY. And, nothing that says they are not to practice what they preach by following the same laws they are supposed to be enforcing on the streets. You "bad cops" on here need to get an attitude adjustment or find other work! 11:00, If you are for real, you need to be the Chief of Police.
From what I saw, the police cars were not even parked at the curb - they were half way out in the middle of the street making it difficult for cars to pass by in each direction. Obviously it was not even an emergency they were responding to - just a bunch of red necks arguing with each other on a Monday night. Now if it was a bank robbery, that is different and I can see the importance of blocking half a street. Just sayin.....
Discipline both or all of the officers for causing a dangerous situation with a final warning, subject to termination with any repeat performances of a same or similar act. Do the same for the idiot cops on this blog for undermining and disrespect to their employers: TAXPAYERS!

The squad cars clearly have their headlights on, and it isn't even dark yet. If you are such a rotten driver that you can't see these vehicles, you shouldn't be driving. These men and women risk their lives everyday to protect us, and you are worried about this dumb stuff?
Wow this is really an issue?? Police responding to call and parking on the wrong side of the street? Which is legal for them to do by the way. Police are allowed by law to disregard traffic law while dealing with calls. Get a life Salisbury!!!!!
Or maybe the call came from a patron of Backstreet? Get a grip. Yes the lights are on the front car.
I bet nobody would care where they parked if it was you being stabbed or shot you would not give a darn where they parked.
