I saw Rolling Thunder yeaars ago. My arms ached from waving and holding a flag in each hand through the entire procession. Tears fell the whole time, not from saddness, but because of the pride that I felt to be an American! To those that were lost, the vets and to those still fighting, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! May those who are still fighting, come home soon and be safe. To those who are left behind at home while their loved ones are away, may peace and God be with you.
I am proud to say that I along with eleven other veterans from Snow Hill,Pocomoke, Stockton and Girdletree, left Snow Hill at 7:30am to ride in Rolling Thunder 2011 in Washinton D.C.. We as veterans rode in honor of those who now serve and those who gave their all for us. We met and saw many veterans and their families while there. To all of you that rode yesterday from Snow Hill and represented Worcester County THANK You, because the frendships will last a life time. Happy Mermorial Day
