Schools should have major buget cuts. School systems accross the country are way to top heavy. It is not the teachers draining the buget. Look at how many admin there are at the Wicomico Board of Education in all the portables. Also the final product of the education system is not where it use to be and why should more money get put into a system that is not showing a better return.

for those of us who chose to not use government schools (for various reasons) many years ago; we have been paying property taxes and tuition for our schools. we got no relief. government still won't allow vouchers so all can choose the school for their own children.

i feel no sympathy for this situation. there is much waste and fraud in the government schools. this has been going on for years with no hope of change. thank the government and the unions.

get out of these schools and get a great basic, classical education for your children. there are all different price ranges.

as a family we had to make choices and set priorities. we drove an OLD car and ran a tight budget. we did without for many years so we could afford a much better educational experience for our children. there are so many good choices today; private school, home school, etc. you only have one chance to educate your children; make the best of it because you can't do it again.....
