Mom Reportedly Loses Custody Of Daughter After Revealing Girl's Botox Injections

SAN FRANCISCO -- The mom who admitted on national television to injecting her eight-year-old daughter with Botox has lost custody of the child, according to a report on "Good Morning America," as some doubt began to emerge Monday about her story.

Kerry Campbell appeared on the morning show last week, explaining how she administers Botox to help her daughter, Britney, compete in beauty pageants.

On Friday, the San Francisco Human Services Agency began investigating Campbell after an outcry over the interview.

"It's pretty unusual for a mom to be injecting an eight-year-old with Botox and certainly is grounds for an investigation," Trent Rohrer, from the San Francisco Human Services Agency said.

On Monday, GMA reported the child was no longer living at home with her mother.

Most would agree what the mother did was wrong but who in the hell thinks taking the child away from her mother is a solution?! WTF!!!

I believe there are better ways to correct this situation.

It all depends on what was learned when they interviewed the child and the mother. If the mother said she didn't do anything wrong and she would continue giving the child injections, then the child would definitely be at risk for further maltreatment. And just because the child was removed from the home, does not mean it is permanent. Hopefully, they will work with the mother to help her see how harmful this was.

Thanks for the reply. You said what I meant but I'm not as good at expressing myself with the class you have. I agree with what you said and it is how I feel.

I do hope the child being removed is not permanent and hopefully they do work with the mother to help her see how harmful this was and she realizes it.
