I remember when diesel engines were being promoted as cheaper to run (because of the price of fuel). Glad its my friends driving those big trucks and not me....$5.00+ a gallon?!! Soon they'll be trying to trade those monsters (and you KNOW the trade-value is gonna be LOW)....
it's not just the monster trucks that are run by diesel fuel.. the trucks bringing your groceries to the store are also using diesel... Think about how that affects your price at the store too!
It is because the out of control environazis are requiring that all diesel fuel have a maximum of 15 ppm sulfer. It costs a lot of money to remove the sulfer from the fuel. You are paying for it!
Well if you don't want those nuisance big rigs on the road then you better start making everything you need at home including your food. Without those nuisance big rigs nothing gets delivered to the stores including the gas and diesel everyone is whining about.
idiots, if you got it a truck brought it! these costs will just be passed along to you the consumer! How come all those demoncrats are calling for BO's head on this?
If Obama would have let us drill the oil lords he serves would not be playing "raise the price";if fuel prices were lower so would everything else; food, clothing, travel, and your checking account. You will not have this with an illegal Democrat in office. You must understand Obama wishes for us to suffer b/c he hates the USA and you elected him.
You guys are getting ripped off. In Florida, as of this afternoon regular was $3.85 (Sunoco, Hess, Shell), Premium was $4.05 and $4.09 (Hess and Sunoco). Diesel was the same or less than Premium. These are real prices not the "cash or (in house credit card) price". - David Hearne
I have diesel trucks and haven't seen this price locally. I am still getting mine for $3.99 at the Exxon in Delmar, just past the scales. The most I have seen was for $4.39 Newark DE early this morning. Maybe this was punched in wrong on the signage?

Everyone will have a FRED FLINSTONE CAR

Yeah but you get much better mileage with diesel, sometimes 20% better then gas.
and diesel is a byproduct when refining? greedy

try there is a lot more taxes on diesel than on gas. So those big rigs have to pay for being a nuisance. So who is greedy?

Huh?
Man, lay off the pot for while.
Your statement is incoherent.
Hello,

big rigs are a nuisance? everything you touch comes by truck. try educating yourself so YOU won't be a nuisance.
