Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury, (that’s right, the same guy who just presided over the “royal wedding”) has come out criticizing the killing of Osama Bin Laden. He is the only major religious figure to date to criticize the US action.
Killing bin Laden when he was not carrying a weapon meant that justice could not be “seen to be done”, the Archbishop suggested.
Williams, the titular head of the worldwide Anglican Communion has chosen to take the American government to task for the killing of a terrorist responsible for the deaths of thousands (tens of thousands?) of innocent civilians. Interestingly, he has to date lacked the backbone to stand-up to people such as the Rt. Rev. Katherine Jeffers Schori, the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church (the US province of the Anglican Communion) who have all but destroyed the Anglican Communion in the developed world thanks to their extreme leftist views of Christianity.
With all respect to His Grace, Archbishop Williams should worry more about matters spiritual and leave matters temporal to those with a spine and a little common sense.

Well the Archbishop can kiss America's red, white, and blue butt.
Exactly 7:49 !!!
Send the Srchbishop overseas and lets see if they cut his head off too; bleeding heart left wing wacko.
The Archbishop of Canterbury should stick with marrying royals.
When Leon Panetta starts telling him how to conduct a wedding ceremony, then Rowan Williams can start offering advice on counterterrorism.
