Former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani tops a CNN/Opinion Research poll. Does that mean he has a shot at the White House?

The main reason he wasn't a "serious" contender in the 08 Primaries is very simple, he didn't get out enough. He spent the majority of his time in FLA, and didn't get out to the voters in other, very important primary states. I think he has a great chance, especially considering the field of current "possible" nominees. He's got a great track record, and has a name that everyone recognizes. Plus, he isn't toxic to independents and blue dogs(remember, he won in a very, very, very democratic city). With Guiliani, even traditional blue states would be in play for the GOP. I'd love to see him run, because he(unlike most other Rs who've thrown their hats in the race) can beat Barack.

Oh yea, Go Rudy. I'd vote for him in a New York minute.
