1) locked out of the job market
2) can't get financial aid for getting a better education

What do you expect to happen? I believe we should be hard on crime but once a man has done his time, put him back on an even playing field.

All expenses paid, and no bills, education paid for , three sqaure meals a day, an affectionate cell buddy to hold you at night, satelite tv, and in some cases a Air condtioned cell. Yu wonder why they want to go back????

I thought it was to keep people like you in a job. Lower intelligence and education levels, no marketable skills beyond being a baby sitter.

Be nicer. Criminals provide you with a paycheck.

Aside from a few twisted few, or those who know nothing else, they don't commit crimes to go back to prison, the commit crimes to survive, that's their only skill and education.

Change that with something positive and they will have a better choice.

But people such as you don't want them to have an opportunity to change. Hence the recidivism.

Do you and your buddies use your fingers when you do a count?
