OCEAN CITY POLICE HOLDING ADDITIONAL APPLICANT TESTING

The Ocean City Police Department is seeking applicants to for seasonal police officers.

The department is holding a final testing on March 19-20 to find the most qualified
applicants for the job.

“The Ocean City Police Department has very high standards for both full time and
seasonal police officers,” said Chief Bernadette DiPino. “We see over 500 men and
women who apply to be police officers in Ocean City, but we only hire approximately 22 percent of those people. We hope that holding this additional applicant testing weekend will help us continue to find the most qualified individuals to uphold the Ocean City Police Department’s long standing tradition of professionalism and excellence.”

Applicant testing will be held at Ocean City Elementary School. Applicants must be at the testing location no later than 7:45 a.m.
