Authorities accuse officers of taking money from residents to avoid having cars towed
Authorities say Baltimore police officers were arrested as part of a joint federal and city corruption probe involving a city towing company.
A news conference with U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein, FBI Special Agent in Charge Richard McFeely and Baltimore Police Commissioner Frederick Bealefeld is planned for 3 p.m. EST Wednesday.
As many as a dozen officers were taken into custody, The Baltimore Sun reported.
