Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On January 18, 2011 at approximately 1:40 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on the six hundred (600) block of Homer Street for the report of shots fired. Upon arrival the officers met with an adult female victim who advised the officers that while sleeping, she was awakened by her residence being struck by gunfire. The victim advised that one (1) of the shots had penetrated her bedroom wall and had grazed her forhead causing a cut. The residence was also occupied by four (4) others subjects at the time of the incident. Officers checked the residence and found that the residence had been struck by approximately nine (9) projectiles. The victim was transported to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment of the injury and was released. There were no other injuries in the residence. A witness to the incident described the following vehicle as possibly involved in the shooting:

On January 14, 2011 at approximately 11:34 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding warrant for an extortion that occurred between July and December of 2010. During that time period, it was reported to officers that the below listed suspect had maintained contact with an elderly male victim. The suspect on a number of occasions threatened to report that the male had assaulted her unless she was given U.S. currency.

ARRESTED: Robin Lee Capper, 46 years of age

Extortion by false accusation
Theft (over $ 10,000)
Theft scheme (over $ 10,000)

On January 15, 2011 at approximately 4:24 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant for the possession of a controlled dangerous substance during a stop on November 18, 2010. On that date the suspect was stopped for investigative purposes and a consensual search of his person revealed a hypodermic syringe containing suspected heroin residue.

ARRESTED: George (nmn) Frazier, 55 years of age

CHARGES: Possession of heroin
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On January 16, 2011 at approximately 11:11 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of West Isabella Street and stopped a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect for a traffic violation. During a routine drivers check, it was found that the suspect was wanted on an outstanding District Court Bench Warrant. The suspect was placed under arrest and a search of the suspect’s vehicle, incident to arrest, revealed a quantity of suspected marijuana in an ashtray.
