SCAMS RUNNING CURRENTLY

Joe- Just wanted to report to you and your public that the "scams are running for the holidays" Yesterday I received a call from "Fraud Dept. Card Services" that back in 2006!!!! someone had tried to use our credit card and tried to charge over $3,000.00! and first report of this was the call yesterday!!!! in the first place rational people would know you would be notified of this before 4 years elapsed! I notified them after 4 supervisors that this was utterly ridiculous and I wanted a letter from them stating the fact that I did not ever have such a card, and that what ever they think they had was to be closed and never contact us again. After this to be on the safe side I obtained on line a credit report, and even further contacted the credit cards we have, which is two about this matter no attempted fraud has ever been attempted or reported at all. Be very careful what they are trying to do is to get you upset that these things occured and you need additional fraud protection on your cards, which benefits them. Know your credit card company services and know that with a credit report and calls to your credit card companies you can catch fraud quickly. These credit reports can be obtained minutes online, per a local collection agency the best they recommend is Annual Credit Report.com.
