At an all-day White House conference on "environmental justice," Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced that her department is creating a new task force to battle the effects of climate change on domestic security operations.
Speaking at the first White House Forum on Environmental Justice on Thursday, Napolitano discussed the initial findings of the department’s recently created "Climate Change and Adaptation Task Force."
Napolitano explained that the task force was charged with “identifying and assessing the impact that climate change could have on the missions and operations of the Department of Homeland Security.”

Meanwhile, at Wednesday's White House Forum on environmental justice, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder referred to Dr. Martin Luther King as a father of the environmental justice movement.
Holder also said he is calling on all U.S. Attorney’s offices to start examining environmental requirements in conjunction with civil rights laws.
“Dr. Martin Luther King, who really was in some ways the father of our nation’s environmental justice movement, may have put it best when he declared, and this is a phrase that we all know, that ‘injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere,’” Holder said.
“The Justice Department has integrated our environmental justice goals into all of our enforcement efforts in our comprehensive strategic plans and that’s why I’ve called on every US Attorney ’s office throughout the country, all 94, to do the same and to start thinking about environmental justice as a civil rights issue. By examining environmental requirements in conjunction with our civil rights laws. I’m confident that we can do a better job of ensuring fairness, advancing justice and making certain that the most vulnerable among us are not left out, left behind, and left to suffer disproportionately,” Holder added.

Climate change AKA global warming is a proven scam and the government wants some of that action hold on to your money if you can.

Obama put idiots in charge to make him look good, it didn't work.
These people create these departments to have the people in the department confirm what they WANT to believe. Like these people will find anything else other than global warming being a threat to our security. Idiots. Why not put the money and resources where we need them for our homeland security? Maybe on the border where we need to battle these illegal immigrants and drug cartels. No, how bout we make a department to investigate the boogeyman as a threat to our homeland security?
