Kidnapped Linda Norgrove possibly died when rescuers detonated grenade
LONDON — Britain's prime minister said on Monday that aid worker Linda Norgrove may have been killed by her American rescuers, rather than her Taliban captors.
David Cameron said Monday that Gen. David Petraeus had told him Norgrove was possibly killed by a grenade detonated by a member of the U.S. rescue team.
But he added that the full facts had not been established.

Terrible.
I really wonder about the level of training for our military. Not because of this incident.
We have been "at war" for 8 years now with a country who has no armor division, no airforce, no navy, and no standing army.
Why can't we beat these guys?
What is taking so long to win?
Don't we have a right to demand answers? If not now, then how long should we wait for a victory?
How much money do we have to spend (borrow) to win this war?
The troops are letting us down big time.
Get a life people , war is sad but people die in wars , soldiers or civilians they are still people. If you don't want to get hurt , stay away from from war zones.

Sorry, I am not usually so harsh - especially as an anonymous commenter. But really, I am sick of that attitude.
Someone points out that our government is not serving us, or is stealing from us, or is corrupt or inept (in this case, the troops are poorly trained or poorly led) - and some bozo thinks I should leave my country because I NOTICED IT.

The reason we have been there for eight years is exactly this --- we ain't fighting a war to kill the enemy, we are making sure we don't hurt anyone. Guys fire rocket launchers at out troops and we have to stop shooting at then when they run into a house. We aren't allowed to shoot until people shoot at us FIRST, no matter what they are doing. We have to get several levels of approval to call in airstrikes. Can you imagine how WWII would have went if we had all these constraints?? Personally, I would tell the world that the next attack on U.S. soil like the WTC will result in the total and complete destruction of the so-called 'tribal areas' in Pakistan. Then do it. Then name the next area to get the total destruction treatment. You want some war? We will bring it to you. You like killing innocent people? We'll show you how to do it right. You like to fight? We got all you can handle and more....
