Sample activities include Monster Freeze Dance, Halloween Golf, Ring Toss, Black Cat Craft, Decorate a Cupcake, and more, including balloon artists N’ Charge and DO IT. Children should come dressed to play games and have fun in a safe environment while supporting the WiHi senior class. Donations appreciated. (Rain location: WiHi cafeteria) 410-677-5146

Friday, Oct. 29
“Trunk or Treat”
Willards Elementary PTA

The second Willards PTA Trunk or Treat will take place on the Willards Elementary bus ramp starting at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29. Vendors will be selling food starting at 5:30 p.m., and decorated trunks will arrive at 6 p.m. Trunk or Treat (Halloween Tailgating) is a safe community Halloween event. Instead of going from house to house, kids will travel from trunk to trunk in the Willards Elementary School parking lot to collect treats. (New this year: To ensure that there is enough candy for the trick-or-treaters, each Willards family has been asked to donate a bag of individually wrapped candy, which can be dropped off in the front office.) Each trunk will be decorated for the occasion – from ghoulish, ghostly SUVs to fairy tale Fords and loaded with yummy treats. Participants will vote for their favorite trunks with their spare change. Pennies, nickels, dimes – empty your pockets to declare the most “tricked out trunks.” All monies collected will be used to purchase Clorox wipes, tissues and hand sanitizer for the impending cold and flu season. Call 410-677-5819.
