Former governor Bob Ehrlich had his faults while in office AND as a candidate. They pale in comparison to O’Malley’s actions over the last four years.
Under O’Malley we have seen an already uncompetitive state become even LESS attractive to those looking to move or start businesses. A regulatory attitude that practically SCREAMS “Go Somewhere Else!” has gotten worse, not better, under O’Malley. Higher corporate and personal taxes, along with a sales tax increase that harms Maryland’s retailers, also the O’Malley attitude to business.
Why not? When O’Malley and a leftist legislature believe that the best job is a public sector job, would you expect more? When the federal government has to step in to help O’Malley balance a bloated budget, need we ask where the next round of dollars will be coming from?
Yes, Ehrlich raised taxes while in office. He should be ashamed. Yes, Ehrlich raised fees – for which there are valid reasons. That said, how can Marylanders honestly want another four years of O’Malley? The millionaires ran to Florida. We’re going to have to pay full freight for the next round.

I'm going to vote while I wince in pain. Neither one of these lying losers deserves the office they run for. Both tell lies with such sincerity that I wonder if THEY actually BELIEVE what they say or think that WE believe it. Taxes? Fees? Levies? Fines? Surcharges? I don't care WHAT they call them...its all the same --- take more of our money. Millionaires slamming the peasants and telling us (like they ALWAYS do), that they are the only possible salvation. Then the cycle begins again. They are worse than a plague of flies...

I would encourage you to exercise the greatest right of American Citizens, the right to refrain from participation in the election.
As you have stated, the election is rigged from the beginning by the presentation of 2 miscreants as candidates. Both candidates are liars and criminals. Both political parties are controlled by big business interests and could care less about citizens.
Why vote?

At least when fees are raised they are paid by the people suing that service, etc. Taxes are paid by everybody even if you never use the service.
You mean like Drivers License fee? Or car registration fees? Or building permit fees (passed on to the consumer)?...THIS reasoning allows slime balls like Erlich to say the things he does with a straight face....no offense intended to slimeballs....
I see. It's okay when a Republican raises fees, but not when a Democrat does it. (After seeing all the screaming about fees in Salisbury here.)
Thanks. The only thing I can't more than a couple of losers for governor is hypocrites who support one of the other by excusing the behavior of one while condemning the same thing in the other.

Ehrlich was a good Governor he was hindered by Democrats, It's a good time to clean house!
O'Malley won 3 counties and lost in all others, including mine, and won the election last time round, so I'm voting for the Constitutional candidate Eric Delano Knowles because he represents my views.
I know, you say I am throwing away an Erlich vote risking an O'Malley victory, but I say I am leading the voters to realizing that in 2012 that third party candidates may be able to win the majority of votes in some races.
Think about that last election... my vote for either R/D politician was meaningless then, and would be in this election.
To the people more right than Ehrlich:
Things to consider:
1. As long as Baltimore is the largest voting district in Maryland you will not see a Republican candidate that is anything but moderate.
2. Contemplate 1, and stop complaining.
3. If Ehrlich gets into office he can decide the lines of voting districts making them more favorable to Republicans.
4. Bob isn't a liberal because he was the first Republican governor to approve medical marijuana- LIBERTARIANS agree with this also- though they go farther and want to legalize marijuana, regulate it and tax it as a way to balance the budget.
5. Bob didn't raid the highway fund.
6. Bob didn't raid your child's education coffer.
There is no reason to "hold your nose" and vote for Bob Ehrlich- he is simply, overwhelming the better candidate.
