WARGOTZ STATEMENT ON HEALTHCARE LAW

Republican Eric Wargotz issued the following statement on the Healthcare law that took effect today. Wargotz, a physician, is running to unseat Barbara Mikulski on November 2:

"Today Marylanders will start feeling the damaging effects of the Health Care law that was passed six months ago without regard for the will of the people and against the express wishes of the majority of Americans. Insurers have already stopped offering coverage for children of working families, and these families will see their expenses skyrocket as costs are passed directly on to them. The harmful effects of this law will be placed squarely on the backs of the small businesses and middle class workers it was allegedly designed to help.

That’s exactly what was bound to happen with a law written by lobbyists, career bureaucrats and Washington Insiders like Barbara Mikulski. Instead of working in a bipartisan manner to pass real health care reform that benefits everyone, the bill became Christmas Morning for every special interest with pockets deep enough to influence its outcome. Unfortunately, Christmas isn’t coming for families and businesses hurt by this law."

What do you mean when you say insurers have stopped offering coverage for children of working families. When you are employed and purchase coverage for your family through a group health plan you have the option of buying family coverage??

Democrats have a genetic disposition to telling lies. The only thing they have been truthfull about is they are transforming America.
