He's pandering to Ruark's supporters who are mad as hell about Mitchell's trashing Davis during the primary campaign. If they all vote for M&M, Seth Mitchell is history.

This shows he's a class act and it's about time we had that.
Have you all read his site? If I still lived in Salisbury, I would definately vote for Matt. Mitchell is a one-trick pony, all he did was bring up Ruark's failings as a person. He could not specifically point to any one case that Ruark truly screwed up. Matt at least has a "platform" and it makes perfect sense. I really hope for all of the residents in Wicomico County that he wins!
I know a lot of the county deputies like Maciarello...

What he said about Davis is the truth. Davis is a class act in spite of what many of you have posted. You will turn on Matt in the future when he makes a mistake, or screws something up or when he doesn't do what you want him to do. One can only hope that Davis will be there for Matt whenever he's needed. Matt will have a very steep learning curve in front of him, and no one knows how many of Davis's staff will leave. Maybe 80 percent if Mitchell wins and probably 25 percent if Maciarello wins. Either way, it doesn't help the people of Wicomico County. Davis - you are a gentleman who has put up with a lot of unjustified criticism and you have handled it with class, including losing an election and never going negative once on a total idiot who ran against you. I am proud of you and how you handled yourself in this campaign. There are many great things ahead of you, and please take every advantage of them. It's time for you to take care of yourself, take care of you family, take care of your people who want to move to other jobs. May God continue to bless you wherever you go. You are the best. I will miss you greatly. This is from a Law Enforcement Officer Who Has Worked With Every State's Attorney's Office in the State and knows that Davis and his Staff Were The Very Best.
Matt has my vote also. I hope before the election, voters realize that the negative campaining and empty slogans used by Mitchell are not a substitute for character.

Unfortunately, Davis was his own wost enemy. He alone put himself in the current situation. I also worked for the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services for 30 plus years in Wicomico County and worked closely with Davis. He was and continued to be a great prosecuter. His downfall was his conviction. I do not feel he got special consideration as some feel as it apears he got the same treatment/ sentence as any other first time offender in his circumstances. My issue was with his position and the fact that many other persons serving in the field of Public Safety and Correctional services would have been required/forced to resign their positions.
I also have had many cases with Mr. Mitchell and can speak to his lack of Knowledge, professionalism, court room performance and demeanor for this position. He lacks the experience to be a real leader. Once, his father asked me what I thought of Seth as an attorney. I almost chocked trying to answer this queston.
I don't know Matt but will by election day.
