It’s 47 Days to Election Day and We Still Can’t Find Frank Kratovil

First District Rep. Frank Kratovil (D-MD) is running TV ads.  He’s raising money.  He’s doing plenty of photo ops and controlled press appearances.  One thing he’s still not doing – MEETING WITH CONSTITUENTS IN A TOWN HALL SETTING.

I know it’s tough.  Voting for PORKULUS.  Saddling constituents with higher long term energy costs thanks to his vote for CAP & TAX.  Voting with Nancy Pelosi 85% of time – now that’s INDEPENDENT!  We thank your for your vote against ObamaCare.  We also know that would have never happened if you hadn’t heard LOUD and CLEAR (at Town Hall meetings, ironically) that your constituents didn’t want it.

Check out Frank’s latest ad:

We’ll ignore the fact that the bank bail out (TARP) was voted on BEFORE Kratovil was even elected to Congress.  Hell, we’ll ignore the fact that Kratovil stated during his 2008 election campaign that he would have voted for TARP.  That’s OK Frank.  We understand.  All we want is for you to stand up and meet with the people you were elected to serve.

Maybe you could stop by on one of those “DRIVES”?

GA:

Just the other day he came by while I was standing outside his office in Salisbury and we had a nice talk. Don't forget the size and shape of the 1st Congressional District.

He call me on the phone, does not know me, and invited me to come a have a chat with some other local people and him. So from my experience, his accessibility is not an issue.

11:35 yes, they do need to look at the size of the 1st district. I think he is running a smart campaign, not attacking anyone (yet) and listing what he has voted for/against. Plus, he has only been in office 1 and 1/2 years. Not a lot of time to see what he can and cannot do. Honestly, and this is only my opinion, I think he will defeat Harris, again, and it will not be as close as it was before.

Kratovil met with me for a one-on-one conversation. Beats being just a voice in a crowded room.

Sorry, this doesn't fly.

Also, why does G.A. Harrison get to say "H e l l" and the rest of us can't?

Double standard much?

Also I think Mike Brewington is a ___ if he made the comment to Harrison you say he did. I may not agree with Harrison, but that is no reason to get personal and ugly.

I didn't see him as accessible at the last public meeting he had over a year ago at Mardela High. He tried to avoid the crowd, and only wanted to talk to a select few individuals one on one for less than an hour. He voted cap and trade which will hurt whatever business are left here as well as the rest of us in higher energy costs! I think he would have voted for the health care bill if public outrage here in his district wasn't so high. He is a liberal pure and simple. A carpetbagger who is a come here and not from here.
