Jewish Groups Get Most Homeland Security Grants; Few Muslim Groups Apply

Jewish groups in Maryland received over $1 million in federal grants to protect them from terrorism this year, while Baltimore-area Muslim organizations, which had gotten grants before, did not apply.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security awards grants annually to nonprofit organizations at high risk for terrorist attacks through its Urban Area Security Initiative program. The grants are for security equipment like alarms, cameras, lighting and fences.

Only two of the 20 mosques in Maryland got grants. Some who failed to apply described the process as complex and cumbersome, and they also said some Muslim groups are cautious and reluctant to apply to the government for funds.

That's because the Saudi Gov't is propping up their mosques...as long as they preach the way the Saudis want. This should be a red flag to the FBI.

The process also asks some questions concerning the entity you wish to help protect....and they (the Muslims) don't want to reveal that information...and I wonder why...

Another double standard! Does the government give any money to christian churches? I didn't think so. This is insane, the government doesn't belong in any religion and that includes giving them my money.

The government has as a goal to become totalitarian in nature. It wants to be involved in your life totally. That includes religious expressions.
