The Rev. Jesse Jackson is calling for an apology from the Obama administration for ousting an Agriculture Department employee now at the center of a racially tinged firestorm.
Jackson said he talked to Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack late Tuesday night before Vilsack said that he would reconsider his department's decision to ask Shirley Sherrod to leave her job.

um didnt the administration offer an apology yesterday for this ?
this is what's wrong with the world
she was fired for being a racist, why would the administration need to apologize for that? Do they need to tell her "We're sorry you're a racist."
She resigned. It's her decision to do so, so what's the issue?
I couldn't help but notice that during the Rod Blagojevich Chicago trial there was never a mention of young Jessie Jackson attempting to buy that political position or any of old Jessie's help. Neither of the two were indicted, just old Blaggo and his brother. It makes you wonder if race played a part in anything? Sellers on trial, buyers get a free pass. FredG
