To 2:48 Nothing said in the post has anything to do with separation of church and state. None of these beliefs are mutually exclusive. There is no reason to to think that religion and the constitution can't be mentioned in the same sentence. The fact of the matter is "Separation of Church and State" does not appear in the Constitution. The separation metaphor came from Thomas Jefferson in a letter to a church pointing out that the government couldn't pass laws that went against freedom of religion.
This is part of the reason we find ourselves in the situation we are in - people don't understand the real history of this country and the fact that it was founded on strong religious beliefs. If all you believe in is the a separation then there will never be any coming together.

I do believe all of it except for the fact that our country is not heading in the right direction.

Do you believe that Republicans are only Christians?

I believe in freedom of religion, but also believe in freedom from religion, but I still get those Saturday morning knocks on my door. I need to create a sign, "No I am not switching churches!"

spiritually I want to still be able to believe but thanks to Obaman, reality is forcing me not to believe

I don't believe in a God of intervention, but if you do that is fine. I think all religions come from the same need in society, and all have their strong points and weakness. I do have a problem with intolerance for differing viewpoints. The only real truth is that none of us really know. We will find out when we step through the door to the other side.

I never said you have to, I'm just looking for believers, those with a faith so strong, it doesn't matter what happens to them. I'm looking for those who want to make this world a better place through the hard work and merrits of individual achievement.

4:12, Not once did I mention Republicans, I only mentioned conservitives, and you can be any political party, or none at all to be consevitive.

If conservatives can only be Christian, were does that leave those that aren't Christian? Or perhaps if a Christian doesn't believe that the country is going to hell in a hand basket. They must not be conservatives. Ironically, when Bush was in office I felt all the things you wrote. I believe that the struggles our country endures now are a result of the Bush administration and Obama. I believe Obama is saddled with an impossible task of trying to SAVE our country. I just hope the damage Bush did isn't too great to save.

I believe whole heartedly!!!
A God of intervention??? I believe that God has masterfully created it ALL for us from a time far before our conception. So labeling Him as a God of intervention shows Him as weak and "timely". Please...our "plans" are laughable. He already has it all mapped out.
As far as the non-believers...wonder how many of them remained in the towers as they fell on September 11th?

If the present human condition is all part of a master plan, then you worship a sadistic god, in my opinion. But, I respect your right to do so, and hope that you can be as tolerant.

959 That is where faith comes in. You will be a believer in time. Amen.

The present human condition is all part of a master plan. This countries values and morals are totally messed up and this is GOD's warning and tribulation to fix it. GOD is angry. GOD exposes secrets. Ecclesiastes 12:14. For GOD will bring every deed into judgement, including EVERY hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. You have to have patience and except GOD's challenge of your character building. You have to be willing to sacrifice for GOD and you will be rewarded In Job 35:7 God is self sufficient. If you are righteous, what do you give him, or what does he receive from your hand? Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded declares the LORD. GOD can do all things. No plan of yours can be thwarted and the truth shall aways find you out.
