This is a non story.
The land was shut down in 2006 under Bush. Fox kind of went to far on this one. Trying to convince people Obama is giving back part of the US? really? Why can't news companies just stick the the facts and hold everyone in government to the fire, not just the ones they they don't agree with.

so essentially, we have given drug smugglers, human traffickers, illegal aliens, terrorists, and whatever other trash a free pre-mapped-out route of where to go. sounds like an ACORN mission.
a few hundred high powered rifles should do the trick...

ya know, we could start dumping our toxic waste there. that way, anyone crossing that gets sick and dies cant complain. im sure a small cache of biological weaponry would be nice too...

If illegal alien criminals control the American soil in question, send in the Marines with heavy equipment, live ammunition and clean the mess up!

Isn't the primary function of our federal government to provide for the security of the nation? And they are telling citizens there are places we are not safe IN OUR OWN COUNTRY because of the actions OF FOREIGNERS operating on OUR SOIL??? And they still have a job?? Anyone ever hear of the Monroe Doctrine? Those were the days when our politicians had some, uh, uh, well, a pair...
