I still don't see how people would be upset - not for her views, which I don't take into account here - but for the fact that she is simply the House speaker: There is still a Senate, and there is still a president, and there is still a supreme court. From Tip O'Neill to Dennis Hastert to Pelosi, the Speaker of the House is not the be-all, end-all of the United States Government. Surely you can agree on that Mr. A.
