O’MALLEY TO ATTEND 14th ANNUAL WORLD TRADE CENTER INSTITUTE INTERNATIONAL AWARDS

Governor to Update State’s International Growth Strategy

ANNAPOLIS, MD
– Governor Martin O’Malley will join with more than 350 Maryland business leaders at the 14th Annual World Trade Center Institute International Awards on Thursday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at the Jim Rouse Visionary Center at the Visionary Arts Museum. The Governor will give an update on the State’s international growth strategy, which, over the past year, includes the opening of several foreign offices in targeted countries, the attraction of 20 new foreign-owned companies and jobs to Maryland and the launch the Maryland International Incubator. The Governor will also present the World Trade Center Institute’s 2010 Governor’s International Leadership Award.
