What I love is you tell the truth. Wayne is a moron. He threatened you today and he could actually be brought up on charges. Don't put up with this type of intimidation. It's nothing more than a scare tactic. Otherwise another great show. Thanks Joe.

I watched the segment at the beginning of WBOC showing Mary Jane's family. That daughter of hers needs some help in so many ways. I've known Mary for many years. Yes, I agree she was a small woman. All those years of being small never led her to where she ended up being. The daughter admitted to not being able to care for Mary, thats when you allow outsiders to help. That's why it's called neglect and abuse on an elderly woman. How would she feel if Michelle, her daughter does it to her? Wait a minute Michelle already had a hand in helping with the neglect. What a family.

Wayne Barrell takes pictures for a living and demanded you not take his picture. He's the a hole who was taking pictures of your wife outside the detention center. He's the guy pounding on your door on your private property and almost went to jail for it. Joe, he says so much nasty stuff about you behind yourt back, we were amazed when we heard it was Wayne who called to to help the Delmar fd get the snow off their roof. He's a snake Joe. You should file charges against him.

The family members who were responsible for Mary's demise should be charged for their part. It is disgusting that anyone would allow someone to be in such conditions.

The property, well that's something the citizens need to put up a fuss about and I am not a resident of Salisbury.

This is why I like to watch SBYnews. . .because of shows like this. This is also why the majority of America watches Bill O'Reilly on FOX news. It is the 'real deal'
As far as the current library goes . . .it doesn't get any 'greener' than what it already is. Part of the green concept is the re-use of existing facilities. The solar hot water heating system is still light years ahead of its time. So why is there all of the fuss about building a new one which by the way is an 'anti-green' shift in policy.
Now someone ought to explain to Mr. Barrell about the Freedom of Press. What he actually did was to break the law by trying to prohibit your free exercise thereof. He should not be the least bit surprised if a summons arrives at the Fire House where he was dispatched from. But then again sometimes that's what it takes to keep people like this in order.

I have an awesome sense of humor & have ALWAYS looked at the humorous side of life's situations that I encounter on a daily basis to "neutralize" my problems & concerns that I must face on a daily basis.
What I envision are a TON of GREAT ideas for comedy sketches, sitcoms, cartoons etc., during my few years living on the Eastern Shore.
Much better than living life angry, frustrated or depressed! :-)

The old fire station should stay a fire station. The clowns that give that fire station away is giving Salisbury's history away and they should be voted out of office.

I am one who does not believe in sueing people, however this sorry excuse for a man, went way overboard. You are right, the majority of firemen (95%) are true heroes and take their job seriously and that majority should kick the other 5% out on their a$$.
With pictures & lawyer in hand, drag that POS to court..Hit him $figuratively$ where it hurts. And to truly pi$$ him off, take anything you get and donate it to your favorate charity and/or cause. I feel in this situation its not about money, but truly principles.

What if Joe had his family there and Wayne did this? Joe did say that the property was right around the corner. The families probably know each other and in the spirit of being a good neighbor Joe's family could have easily been with him. When bad things happen in our neighborhood, people show up to lend a helping hand and be supportive. You could really see how angry Joe really was about the whole incident. Joe clearly stated before that they put their differences aside to work together to help out with the snow. Joe didn't start this, but I have a feeling he's going to finish it.

Mrs. Baker was a fine hard working woman at Fruitland school. I thought she was in the hospital and then going or should have gone to a nursing home.
RIP Mrs. Baker, your struggle is over and you are home with god.
