As a gay conservative who quietly lives his life and doesn't force anything on anybody, I love that article. It's so true!!!
If a conservative is a believer he believes the whole country should be based on a book. He will also be willing to waste 4 billion dollars on a country just because the "book" says it should be where it is and because he wants to be elected the next year. Heaven forbid if CUFI doesn't endorse his campaign. He will also govern somebody else's rights just because he/she is homosexual and a book says that is wrong. Oh, and the majority of conservatives are religious.
3:40 - actually a conservative would rather spend the money on one bomb to flatten the country and be done with it. Liberals would prefer to send that country my tax money so they can invest it to bomb my country.
1. Liberals don't like guns because it's the conservatives who abuse them.
2. To say that liberals who are vegetarians impose their anti-meat beliefs on conservatives is an offensive generalization. Perhaps the more evangelical conservatives might take a look in the mirror before trouncing that phrase.
3. If a conservative is homosexual and "quietly leads his life" it's because conservative society is wretchedly homophobic and he's likely scared of rejection and scorn.
4. The allusion to welfare ("a liberal wonders who is going to take care of him") is another generalization as well as (5.) "not liking talk show hosts" (where did that even come from?)
6. For the same reason as number 3, any conservative atheist is likely apprehensive to sharing his disbelief in "god" to his oppressively-disposed conservative brethren.
7. And the healthcare thing...another generalization.
8. As far as a good laugh? Yeah. This tickled me pink it did.
