Staycation. For what I'd spend if I went somewhere, I can spend that same money here dining out and going to places within a few hours drive.

Me and my lady are investing $150 into 2 used bicycles and a bike rack and are going to enjoy our FREE state and national parks here in the region.

FYI: anyone have a bike for sale?

going on a 5 day cruise with a good friend of mine... fairly inexpensive for an 'interior' room rather than a balcony. I encourage everyone to check them out. Great option for everyone and they vary in price range for all budgets.... happy vacationing =)

After giving up vacations for years my husband and I vowed to not cash in vacation time any more! So we are taking the kids to PA this year for a few days. Nothing expensive of course, just time away from the same routine. Can't wait to go!

Vegas & Mexico. Sometimes you just need to get out of the Bury.

The arrival of spring this year will be similar to vacation. We will probably staycation. I am self employed...and in the real estate field, boy does that suck right now. I am on the verge of finding a job elsewhere.

Never thought I could do without one, but will have to this year except for some weekend trips. Couldn't justify spending the money - would feel too guilty & not enjoy it. Sad!

Vacation isn't much more than a good Scrabble word to me. Maybe a weekend getaway, something affordable, but that's it.

My husband and I save all year for our vacation. It's one thing that we decided many years ago, that we would always take a trip somewhere once a year.
We either go up into New England during the summer or into the VA mountains in the fall.
Not a huge extravagant getaway but well worth it just to get away. No phones, no email, no computers for a couple of weeks. Sure is refreshing!

What's a vacation? Oh,I think I remember. It's when you get paid time off from work & go somewhere other than your house. Haven't had one in about 17 years.

Stay. Who's got money these days, and of those who do, they're wondering when the axe may fall.

Fortunately I am only minutes from a beach and fishing , have an outdoor hot tub and enjoy planting flowers, cutting grass ,growing vegetables, and detailing my vehicles . Bring on the warm weather, Thats all I need to call it a vacation.
